This 2 x three-piece cutlery set (total of 6 pieces) from Emperor Wilhelm II's Rococo silver service, made around 1900, comes from the renowned workshop of H.J. Wilm, Berlin, one of the most important court suppliers to the German imperial house. Made of 800 silver and gilded, the handles are richly decorated in Neo-Rococo style, with the Prussian imperial eagle and the crowned cipher "WR" for Wilhelm Rex – a clear sign of its imperial provenance.

All pieces are hallmarked and bear the imperial silver mark, confirming their authenticity and origin from the royal table silver. The set consists of:

  • Knife: approx. 22.5 cm

  • Fork: approx. 18.8 cm

  • Spoon: approx. 19 cm

The condition is good to very good, with slight abrasion to the gilding, which is considered normal for objects of this age and quality. Particularly noteworthy: Three similar pieces of cutlery were recently sold at an auction in Saarbrücken for 5,600 Euros including premium – and were in worse condition than the set offered here.

This ensemble combines royal provenance, masterful silver artistry, and historical significance – a true highlight for collectors of imperial silver, Prussian memorabilia, and representative objects from the possession of Wilhelm II.

The cutlery comes in an extremely high-quality clear lacquer box, with corresponding inserts.
