This rare sauce boat from the S.M.Y. Hohenzollern, dated 1911, comes from the representative onboard service of Kaiser Wilhelm II. and is a significant object for collectors of KPM porcelain, imperial table culture, and maritime history. Made from white glazed porcelain, the sauce boat features the great coat of arms of Kaiser Wilhelm II., surrounded by the chain of the Order of the Black Eagle – a symbol of the highest Prussian distinction.

Opposite is the imperial presence standard above the banderole with the inscription “S.M.Y. Hohenzollern,” the German Emperor's state yacht, which was used from 1893 to 1918 as part of the Imperial Navy for diplomatic and representative purposes. The exclusive porcelain service was used exclusively during the Emperor's personal presence on board.

The underside of the sauce boat bears the typical underglaze blue scepter mark of the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) as well as the red orb mark, both with dating. Dimensions: approx. 21 × 15 cm. The condition is very good, with fine execution and clear painting. Hairline cracks on the base.
