This very rare salad serving set made of silver and bone – Emperor Wilhelm II, ca. 1890 is an outstanding example of imperial table culture, combining historic tableware, imperial provenance, and masterful silver artistry. The two serving pieces – a spoon and fork made of bone – display the typical, slightly cream-colored material structure, while the silver handles are richly decorated and bear the representative signature of the late imperial era. Particularly striking is the Neo-Rococo decor, which, with its curved shapes and floral elements, emphasizes the luxurious aesthetic of court life.

The handles are made of finely crafted silver and feature the Prussian imperial eagle as well as the crowned monogram "WR" for Wilhelm Rex – an unmistakable sign of imperial provenance and an important characteristic for collectors of imperial silver and historic court objects. The combination of bone and silver was typical for high-quality salad serving sets used at the imperial table around 1890.

This exceptional ensemble is delivered in a high-quality piano lacquer casket, specially made for this cutlery, which further enhances its representative effect. The condition is excellent, making the set an ideal object today for lovers of historic tableware, collections from the Imperial Era, and rare, authentic pieces of German history.

Length: approx. 27.5 cm
