Antique wine glass from the Josephinenhütte – For Kaiser Wilhelm II, ca. 1910–1912

This exceptional antique wine glass comes from the famous Gräflich Schaffgotsch's Josephinenhütte and was made especially for Kaiser Wilhelm II between 1910 and 1912. It was part of the large Prussian court service commissioned to mark the 200th birthday of Frederick the Great (Fredericus Rex) - an important piece of Prussian history and a masterpiece of historical glassmaking .

Features of the Josephinenhütte wine glass:

  • Material : Heavy, colorless glass with fine gilding , typical of imperial glassware .
