In the mid-1890s, the Oberhofmarschallamt (Lord Chamberlain's Office) placed a large initial order with \u003cstrong\u003eKPM\u003c\/strong\u003e. However, “Neuosier” was \u003cstrong\u003enot an exclusive custom-made item\u003c\/strong\u003e for the Kaiser: the shape was commercially available. The difference lay in the \u003cstrong\u003edecoration\u003c\/strong\u003e.
