The Emperor introduced standardized porcelain for all castles. In the mid-1890s, the Oberhofmarschallamt (Court Marshal’s Office) placed a large initial order with \u003cstrong\u003eKPM\u003c\/strong\u003e. However, “Neuosier” was \u003cstrong\u003enot an exclusive custom-made item\u003c\/strong\u003e for the Emperor: the shape was commercially available. The difference lay in the \u003cstrong\u003epainting\u003c\/strong\u003e. Many pieces could be ordered in multiple sizes – sometimes in \u003cstrong\u003eup to eight variants\u003c\/strong\u003e. The assortment included, in addition to plates, platters, and bowls, also \u003cstrong\u003ejelly cups\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ebouillon cups\u003c\/strong\u003e, and a variety of \u003cstrong\u003e“compote bowls”\u003c\/strong\u003e.
